When is Mars Inc.'s going to stop wrapping its products in (plastic) pollution?
@Empiricism_Reloaded interesting question, but i don't know.
The general business as usual trend I've noticed is that many businesses respond to questions regarding their plastic pollution by saying, to paraphrase "we are working on it".
But, years later, nothing has changed (still "working on it") besides there now been more plastic pollution (all non biodegradable plastic ends up as pollution. Because it doesn't biodegrade).
@Empiricism_Reloaded without strict regulations to limit single use plastic there will likely be no change
All non-biodegradable plastic is a pollution. Single use or not.
We should invest in research so as to develop non-mined biodegradable forms of plastic.
I know there are already plastics made from plant starch, etc.
I also know that the oil industries are focusing on promoting unsustainable non-biodegradable plastic products.
Evidently, they have no problem trashing the planet (as that's their core business method)
