@ADSBexchange Worse yet, this crusade may have more to do with Twitter's Saudi ownership. The Saudi government has made suggestions to icao to hide the data by, citing unspecified threats. @FakePhD_reveal We have seen that memo they presented at the latest ICAO meeting. However, these kinds of things move extraordinarily slow. Could be decades, if ever. Of course, the military already has such tech and can turn their transponders off. There is a reason the protocol was initially designed without these features.
