After Jio enters the Indian Market vodafone quickly price matches Jio. This means vodafone had inflated its prices from the get go.
But the Indian consumer is no fool. They knew that vodafone could have helped India’s poor get access to the internet but it instead decided to mint money.
If a private player is helping Digitise India, why would we complain?

Free Markets have a way of using competition to reach greater efficiencies. And vodafone is being eliminated.

Reliance has explicit govt backing that’s why they are able to offer cheaper plans. They are thugs who know how to kill competition by using their influence in govt.
Vodafone is also a huge foreign investor and by harassing and pushing it out, modi is sending signal to the rest of the world- as soon as Ambani or Adani delve into a sector, get out of that sector.
