Really enjoyed following your train of thought there, but end-stage? Or latest stage? Or, in extremis, are there really stages to it?
I imagine a serf in the Middle Ages would have thought pretty much the same about feudal lords profiting from their work to buy more land to further increase profits. Workers after the industrial revolution. Soldiers in the Roman army.
How many insightful people like you have put the finger in the wound and dared to imagine a brighter future? And yet, even though in many respects standards of living have improved, are we still not just prisoners of the selfishness of Nature?
Can't put our arms down, but damn if it isn't a complicated problem, stopping money from loving other's money.
