If an ant has no wings it's female (with some very rare exceptions in species that are rare)

If an ant has wings it's about a 50/50 change it's female.

So nearly all ants are girls.

Queens can lay eggs with or without fertilisation. Unfertilised eggs only inherit the queen's DNA, and so are automatically female (but not fertile) - that's where workers and soldiers cone from.

Fertilised eggs have a 1/2 probability of being male; the males only exist to fertilise new queens. Fertilised females become queens.

Non-solitary #bees and #wasps work the same way. #Termites are always diploid; workers and soldiers can be any sex.
