I lost my mother yesterday. This loss is unexpected, unfair, and devastating beyond words. She was the most loving, dependable person I’ve ever known, and I deeply regret not getting a chance to properly tell her this. I didn’t go to her with all of my problems, but knowing I COULD was a tremendous comfort.

She was a one-of-a-kind soul who made me feel loved unconditionally, and in many respects, she was my tether to the world. I can’t imagine life without her.
