Check out the Berlese Funnel traps that we have set out for our soil sampling, analysis, and data interpretation course. We place soil in the funnels on top and a flask with ethanol underneath. The heat and light drive bugs into the ethanol, and we can see the bugs in our soil! #soil #soilscience #science
