Things to say to DID Systems
1. It is important to check with the system you are speaking with to ensure you know who is fronting at any given moment in time. It would be annoying to refer to someone with the wrong name.
2. Asking if questions are okay is important because some system members might not be okay with interviews.
3. Littles must be treated like children because they *are* children.
4. If a System switches while you and the System are doing an activity then check to see if they would also like to switch activities. It might not be fun for a system member to get thrust into an activity suddenly and they also might not have any idea what is going on.
5. Check their comfort levels because what one system member might love might be intolerable for another or vice versa. Always check this to ensure that each system member is being treated properly and with respect.
6. If a system seems to be quiet for no reason and is staring off into the void then it is important to not interrupt or otherwise mess with them. They could just be having an internal unvoiced conversation that they don't feel like voicing and interrupting would be rude.
7. If you are unsure who is in command then keep compliments, questions, comments, whatever gender neutral because accidentally being misgendered isn't very fun for the system member.
