OK, now wait a minute. How the heck am I just using neofetch for the 1st time on Project Bluefin. The distro image it shows literally made me laugh out loud.

Also, **this** is why I run Linux. This laptop that I'm on right now was a mid-range "gaming laptop", back in 2018. I still use it daily, and I haven't upgraded it because I just don't need to. At 7 years in, it's **still** blazing fast at day to day tasks under Linux. It's stupid fast on Bluefin.

I don't game much anymore, but I do play some indie stuff occasionally (big fan of Spiderweb Software's games, stuff like that). It still works fine for that too.

I suspect that one day it will just break, as things do, and if the repair isn't super easy, I'll just go buy another "gaming laptop" and hope to get nearly 10 years from it before it dies. Probably something with a bigger screen, as I use this one as a desktop replacement.

I buy used laptops (T-14 for $200 from ebay, etc...) for actual mobile computing.
