This was the complete ScienceBlogs community - the first #science blogging network - as it appeared in 2007 hosted by SEED. I’m thrilled so many of us are here on #Mastodon now, still sharing science research and stories 15 years later.
How many writers do you recognize?

@Sheril Cool! I remember 16 of them. One of those 16 has already passed away.

@brembs Yes, it’s very sad we lost Ed. He was a wonderful writer and kind person.

@brembs @Sheril I followed a bunch of those, back in the day. I was just going to say RIP Ed. 🙁

@MichaelPorter @Sheril Oh, Ed too? Missed that. I was thinking of Sandra Kiume. I've even met her and her partner, once.

@brembs @MichaelPorter Not that I know of, although I only keep up with a subset regularly. There are also a lot of amazing folks who joined Sb in the years that followed.

@brembs @MichaelPorter Oh, that’s very sad. Unfortunately, I’m not sure I had had the chance to meet Sandra offline. I don’t remember her at our meetups.
