Hey Physics teachers (and others).
We love to use everyday items in class, and we’re nosey.

What three things do you always have in your desk/ classroom ready to be used in a demo?

@chatphysics I always like to have ping pong balls, coins and a fibre optic lamp. Coins can be used for radioactive decay and similar.#ChatPhysics

@KikiElara @chatphysics I always had a roll of pennies in my desk drawer. It was a mix of old and new, so some were magnetic and some were not. I used them for chem (isotopes), physics (ferromagnetism example, radioactive decay), biology (tokens to signify pesticide dose), and more.

@MichaelPorter @chatphysics Yes! That first time the pupils notice there’s a difference in older or newer coins!
