For god's sake; no one in science uses degrees Fahrenheit - science uses degrees Celsius or degrees Kelvin!
Maybe use both units? For instance when discussing UK transport/road issues (as I have a lot of international followers) I will usually write something like "Many roads in urban areas and particularly in London have 20mph (32 km/h) speed limits".
Note also mixed units in the press release below; this confusion is rampant in the UK as civil engineering is carried out in metric but the signs for distance and speed are in imperial units!

@Paulos_the_fog I agree Paul, but the majority of my readers live in the US. I would prefer to use C. Might be time to switch what I use. Thank you for your comment.
