@fkamiah17 This kind of jingoism is precisely the best way to endanger Jewish people globally & seal one's fate as a pariah state.

Yet, the genocide persists.

^Those four words should punctuate all reflections on Gaza for all times.

I've seen some folks who tacitly support 🇮🇱 from a "left" perspective lay *ALL* the blame on the US. None on Israel.

Theres plenty of blame to be had there. Thats obvious/undeniable.

Israel *could* stop at any second if they wanted.

Yet, the genocide persists.

@fkamiah17 Ive had to block several who have conflated criticism of Israel, ethnocide, genocide, extreme racism & collective punishment with antisemitism and its growing incredibly tiresome.

Some of them were Jewish. Some of them purported allies of the vulnerable.

Its disappointing to see such rage justified & even cheered on.

I cant speak to whether or not their rage is justified, I wasnt there on 10/7.

But I can say their actions are wholly unjustified.

Yes, I find that attitude extremely tedious too.

Nobody sensible is saying that what Hamas did is right, however no one sensible should be saying that the mass murder of around 30,000 Palestinians many of whom were entirely innocent women and children is justified by her mass is woeful slaughter!
Conflating objection to israel's (I refuse to give that murderous state even a capital letter) utterly foul murder of innocent Palestinian civilians with anti-Semitism should be criminalised in any civilized country, in my view (just as some countries have criminalised Holocaust denial)!
