am i the only one who thinks Sadiq Khan is the only effective incumbent and more than half-decent politician in the UK?

The thing that astonishes me is that the tories (I refuse even to give them a capital letter) really thought that the absolutely ghastly woman they put up as a candidate had a cat in hell's chance of winning!
