On <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fediverse">Wikipedia's Fediverse Article</a>, I discovered that there is an "audio, sound hosting" Fediverse server called Funkwhale. I went to the website and their publicly listed pods (a.k.a. instances, servers), and there were many tracks released that I could listen to. I thought to myself "This is great! Can I view these tracks and stuff through my instance (which uses Mastodon)?" No. I could not see the posts through my instance. Why is that?

@Pixificial So music doesn't get mixed with or buried by social media shitposts?
@likho There is a comment section on most of the major music distribution platforms too. It's not buried by them, you can always not look at them.
