Three arrayed 34-m dishes at Goldstone CA are currently listening for Voyager 1's report on regularly scheduled calibration exercises. This is a series of measurements done by both spacecraft to ensure the reliability of the measurements made by the remaining scientific instruments. This should be the first regularly scheduled calibration transmission from V1 since it was commanded to switch through several transmission speeds (from 40 bps to 7200 bps) on Feb 17-18. Engineers continue to try and diagnose V1's data malfunction...
