New here, I'm not sure how it all works! Is 'at'tactile a group now, is this different to a hastag? I think science on Mastodon is so new that we are working out how to best use it. Nothing exists that I know of for as a group for touch. Can we help?
@RochelleAckerley @TheHandLab @tactile @Kkilteni_neuro Hi Rochelle and Nick: hashtag means others will find your post if they search for it or when they follow it. A group means, everyone who signed up for it will see the post in their timeline. With the new hashtag following system that was introduced last week, following a hashtag probably has the same effect as following a group.
