I want to experiment with sublimelayers.com/2017/03/the-, but I've never worked with aluminium tubing before. Specifically: what tools do I need to cut the 4mm tube, and crimp the end? I have a pin drill already, so I assume the hole drilling is fine.

Another question is how to ensure easy insertion into a plastic part.

Any #3DPrinting experts, or metalworking experts, able to weigh in?

@koz @3dprinting I'd probably just try crimping the al tube with a pair of pliers. Then cut through the crimp with wire cutters, or a hacksaw, or just bend/break it and squeeze with the pliers again if needed?
