Our power was out for more than 12 hours with the blizzard that hit Denver metro yesterday. Glad our home has a wood burning fireplace because it's old enough to be grandfathered into the regulations that ban them.

I feel for those in newer homes where the only means of heat in a situation like this are outlawed.
