@jeremiah the bill adds restrictions to who can be married (funny coming from the party that 5 minutes ago was preaching marriage equality and love = Love), but also says that instead of EITHER a judge or a parent approving for 16+, parents lose that right.

It may be an anti Mormon, but I don't think I'm in favor of politicians outlawing things just because they think that certain religious folks are weird.

I think this would be less of an attack on the family and parental rights if they just said you need BOTH parental and judge.

But saying that parents lose their rights because bureaucrats raised their eyebrows is bad policy.
