All my leftist friends are headline readers and mainstream media viewers. They never go more than a sentence or two in an article, if that. And they trust their talking heads. They never question nor delve deeper. Misinformed most definitely. And sorry to say, brainwashed because of it.

While walking the neighborhood, several people stopped me to say they support Trump. They also told me almost the whole neighborhood was Trump except for one woman. They have silenced us successfully to the point that we dont even know who are Trump supporters. I suspect the quiet ones are Trump's irredeemables.

Trump stumped for Senators at the midterms... I believe he deliberately handed Pelosi the House so she could burn it down in preparation for 2020. I never expected the Republicans to keep the House at the midterms. Of course the delayed Mueller Report had a significant impact on the midterms that has to be taken into account.

I was sure Republicans would retain the House in 2018 but I turned out to be wrong. It doesn't matter, thankfully, bc we retained the Senate, even increasing our majority there slightly.
2020 is different bc Trump is on the ballot. That will drive turnout. But we should not be complacent, either.

For DJT he saw this as a WIN because FAKE GOP is far worse for this country than outright LIB Dems.

Personally, I think Trump wanted to lose the house and gain in the Senate. That's how he campaigned. He specifically did not campaign for some very good candidates for Congress that had a chance; John James in MI, for instance. He needed to make a sharp contrast between dem Crazy and MAGA. He wins in a landslide.
