@VerdanuOsane@mstdn.io yes! Wild... Here's a photo of the melted charging cable. I'm using the phone.. Still smells like burning metal, don't have a device to take a photo of the melted inside of the charging area.

@VerdanuOsane@mstdn.io T-mobile tells me I can file an insurance claim and pay the deductible. Apparently their phones melting down on their own is treated as the customer's fault.
I am concerned the phone is going to burst into flames at I sleep tonight.
