"I feel like God would've made religion simple."
or
"I just don't like all of the ceremony."

It seems like the main objection is to the Mass. My first inclination would be to say, "It's beautiful and perfect, why would you want to make it anything less?" But that's hard to articulate, and seems subjective. What's a good Catholic response to this objection?

@jforseth210 I'm not Roman, but for me, I love that the liturgy is packed good of real theological content. That takes some time and good teaching to understand, but it means that removing from the liturgy is removing theological content that we live out through the liturgy. Why would we want to stop that?
