@KzintiCV I used Mint when i first started to use Linux so that's why i said beside Ubuntu. But i'll look for OpenSUSE thanks.
@Squirrel Yeah, I wasn't sure just how not-Ubuntu you were looking for so that's why I suggested both.
Thats not so different.
For realy different look at:
- Gentoo: compile everything yourself the way you want it
- Qubes OS: like VMs? Because everything now gets a VM for itself.
- NixOS: the most complicate OS after Windows I encountert.
singel place OS configuration. Creates "snapshots" for every (un)install and update.
Making it "Unbreakable". Even if you install a lot of applications right from the master branches.
@Squirrel loving Debian here, but others I would try are Fedora and openSUSE!
@Squirrel nothing marginal just the Fedora.
@laktoxt haggard yenir
@Squirrel Garuda,manjaro,endeavour,pop_os ve fedora
@Squirrel I still like Mint a lot. Even though it's based on Ubuntu, I think it's better. I also liked the default Cinnamon desktop it has.
If you're looking for something very different you could try OpenSUSE instead.
