I was convinced that the new season of Ted Lasso was going to drop on Christmas Eve or Day as a surprise for their viewers... maybe New Year's Day? Always the optimist...
Thinking about books I've read over the past few years that have been transformative for me and I realized #1619Project was top of the list. I don't think the word #Ukraine appears in the book once, but #1619Project helped me reframe how I see the world and that helped me see the #Russian invasion of Ukraine differently than I might have had I never read #1619Project. #1619Project trains its readers to think critically, question assumptions, and consider whose stories have been silenced. That's #power. Thank you Nikole Hannah-Jones and all the contributors to this powerfully transformative project.
