This Musk "plan" makes no sense and I am just a small-time CEO.
Currently, Ad makes up 92% of Twitter's revenue. His $8/month suggestion wouldn't even make up 1% of that revenue (at 500k sign-up). There is no way he will not run out of operating capital trying to completely change Twitter's business model to be "less dependent" on advertisers. He can't be serious.

There's a huge number of us who have been saying for years that the man is not the genius his weird nerds think he is. He hires people for the smart things, he's just capital. This is all the proof anyone needs. He's a one man clown show with a spine like a 3 day old ham salad sandwich.
