North America’s Wasp Mantisfly, Climaciella brunnea, is not a wasp, nor a mantis, nor a fly, but a species of lacewing.
@alexwild What a beautiful #insect. So many unusual, extraordinary animals out there ... first time I saw a snake fly (not a snake, not a fly) I had to count legs as a sanity check.
