@npariente While I am quite sure this is one interesting step that could be taken, I'm afraid both of the limitations of a non-expert check (i.e, is the statistical model accurately describing the research question) and of the standardisation of methods that this may imply. #peerreview
@jocelyn_etienne @npariente Quite the endorsement of @eLife ‘s new 2-column assessment: “As a metaresearcher studying peer review, I am struck by how vague the concept is. It conflates the evaluation of rigour with the curation of what deserves space in a journal.”
