@malin Ooh, that's cool. Hadn't seen that before. BTW the code editor I'm using at work has VI on it and it's already been quite useful. Combined with a macro, the efficiency is wonderful.

Made this a bit ago - already noticing errors all over the place, but it's not a bad overview of general workflow.
On Arch you can install LaTeX with one command, including most packages. There's another command to install live-latex-preview, so it auto-compiles as you type.
@anguslm Nice. I've written half an RPG in it. Not having to worry about formatting has been great, though it took a while to define all the commands I need.
What's your Latex software?
