All 4 of my grandparents were in WWII, as well as other family relations, including two step-uncles.
Most photos I see are of the men in uniform. This year I share with you My maternal grandmother Irene.
Enlisted in Edmonton, posted to 7 Service Flying Training School Fort Macleod then No. 3 Calgary in 1944, with rank of S/O Squadron Officer

I know little about their service time other than records. All 4 were RCAF My Maternal grandfather (Image on Left) spoke of it a bit, but not much. My Paternal Grandfather was oversea in Ceylon (Sri Lanka) Sergeant Image on Right
