What are you up to today?
Yesterday we went on a walk around Capitol Lake in Olympia. It’s a pleasant urban walk, lots of dog walkers and birders.
This fine raptor seemed to be watching ducks with interest.
That and the size makes me think it was an immature Bald Eagle. It might also have been an Osprey. I haven’t had a chance to observe up close enough to be sure.
Would say that's a young Bald Eagle, based on the big schnozz.🙂
