So many private companies are suddenly putting sanctions. This trend suddenly started two years ago. Most of them do not have a track record of going out of their way and start acting on a seemingly humane cause. Normally they would just want to maximize their profits regardless of what happens in the world. Don't you think there is a good chance these companies are being pressurized?

@GNUxeava Paradoxically this behavior can give them more profit by itself.
Many people have preference to buy products from companies with similar ethical leaning even if it's just one time thing. There is also preference not to support companies which don't act/ condemn certain social events etc.
