Asked #chatgpt to recommend books on #Yugoslavia, am absolutely blown away.

"The Practice of New Democracy" by Edvard Kardelj

"The Theory and Practice of Self-Management" by Miloš Samardžija

"Self-Management and the Yugoslav Model" by Vladimir Makarovic

"The Yugoslav Path to Self-Management" by Branko Horvat

The Yugoslav Experiment 1948-1974" by Fred Singleton

"Yugoslavia: Death of a Nation" by Laura Silber and Allan Little

Best bibliography I've seen so far.

John - this is fascinating! But you need to realize that those books do not actually exist (except for the last one - and, well, The Yugoslav Experiment is a chapter in Singleton's book).

I have written about those "Schrödinger Facts" in my latest newsletter for the Sentient Syllabus Project – and also why that information is not useless.
