Anyone using the Brave Browser? Feedback will be appreciated.
Am testing Brave now
Tried it a while ago in a VM which I use NoMachine to connect to. Works pretty much out of the box with sane defaults. Sync seemed to be disabled due to some bugs though.
1 month later and what do you think of Brave browser now?
I'm using it & like it - have dumped Firefox - which opened many connections & consumed so much damn memory - had to abort Firefox many times

Firefox update also screwed up system - had to uninstall & install an earlier version - I avoided upgrading but am now on Brave
Use the @DuckDuckGo browser. It’s not memory hungry and doesn’t gobble resources.
@gab keep breaking it though.

Brave defaults to the DuckDuckGo search engine - dropped Google also

I had over 18,000 dedicated followers and a lot of friends there....but for the last two years all my numbers froze...I was shadowbanned...and I do still miss a lot of my friends..we had a lot of fun :) However I am making new friend here so I am fine and I am NOT going to try to go back... @w0tn0t @kabster @DuckDuckGo @gab @davewill123

I'm with you there - I'd never go back to Twitter. I was locked out a few times, shadowbanned & ultimately suspended for posting facts & news report about an Islamic terrorist in Melbourne who drove his car into pedestrians, killing a few & shouted Allahu Ahkbar. He was sentenced to LIFE, yet Twatter suspended me for "discriminating against a religious minority group!"
They even suspended (due to IP address) my professional Twitter account which did not include any political content.
I'm pleased to be on Gab & have some of my former (also suspended) friends :)
Are you using Brave also & what are your thoughts/experiences?
Yes. Have used Brave for desktop and mobile since the first public availability.
It has been wonderful.

thanks Cordelia. I have also installed it in a Win10 virtual machine with network connectivity. Seems to function quite well. Just need to do more extensive testing :)
