I read many people being worried about a possible negative effect on native #linux game development because of the #proton + #steam combo. I think that the first visible and positive effect will be that we'll have more reliable demographics on how many people play #games on linux. This will reveal how big this market is and hopefully will bring according efforts to develop games.
