Finally! A bulk goods trader ship passed by and that one actually had muffalos on board! I immediately bought a male muffalo for my female muffalo!
I think I probably should get rid of my gajillion cows and alpacas as soon as there are more muffalos. The muffalo can deliver milk and wool all in one package! Can't get more compact than that! #games #RimWorld
Also: muffalo muffalo muffalo!
@trinsec I am always terrified taming these guys. I know they are awesome, but being trampled to death by a group of these majestic beasts is an hard pass :D
@commandelicious Taming? Are you insane?! I'm so awesome that the female one self-tamed herself to serve my colony!
Actually, I've not even bothered with taming at all. My mountain-hideout isn't accomodating passing herds terribly well, too far away.
All the animals I have are originally self-tamed. :) I pretty much had hit the jackpot when alpacas and cows thought 'hey, let us get milked and sheared by those colonists!'
(Good thing they didn't read the fine print of their contract... *eyes the huge bonepile*)
@trinsec The moment 23 Yorkshire terriers self tame. or 28 cats.
@trinsec They don't stop breeding >.>
And I love cats so much. I could never harm one. Not even in game. argh
@trinsec You make me want to play again.
@trinsec What I really love about it is: You can basically play it as The Sims.
When I don't record me playing I play it on really easy, just building stuff :3
@commandelicious I usually play it at 'Somewhat a challenge' (just after the base-builder level). Randy Random x2.
So, sometimes I get thrown a real nasty curveball. Nothing I can't handle, but it's enough to make me do damage control. So yeah, the building part is going really slow, while I'm also a base-builder by nature...
I don't know why I'm punishing myself so much! But I guess it'd get boring otherwise.
@commandelicious Well, if I can accidentally kill felines in ADOM (and make the cat-god angry, apparently), I definitely can 'accidentally' slaughter cats and eat them in RimWorld!
If I didn't have this greenhouse mod, and wasn't confined inside a mountain, I'd definitely keep them to keep critters away from my farms, though.
