i believe at one point he claims he's not burning plastics so there's no pollution, he's just breaking the bonds......
I haven't searched hackaday for this process but I'm sure there are several variations there. The big discoveries are often just obscure 2010 videos from the archive.
We all agree that recycling is just fancy white people trash, right? Like .00001 of recycled plastic is actually used for anything and the rest ends up in Asia.

and 100% if it were profitable to do anything with trash there would be a war over it and the homeless would be making bank
@dictatordave @magicalthinking @PNS @cjd Here we have Trash to Power plants. Burning plastic is incredibly efficient - burns like oil. 800° so even halogen plastics burn without producing toxins. Although plastic is the most efficient, handles general waste stream, extracts iron magnetically and aluminum via eddy current pre-furnace. Uses bag filters to condense heavy metals in exhaust. The bag filters are cut into sections as the metals are now nice separated, and sold to refiners.
