@PNS If they are indeed the "exact same product" except for color - just buy the cheaper one. That's how capitalism works. I suspect they are not the same product in more ways that just color.
Similarly, if women are paid less for the exact same work - a sane business would hire as many as possible. (Which would raise the wage due to increased demand until equilibrium is reached.)
And then sometimes it's *slightly* different, so not substitutable, but the women's one is still 3x the price.
My instinct is that men are more stubborn - if you charge them too much, they just won't buy. Women are more reliable customers so you can get away with charging them more.
