@MikeElgan Cowardly or smart? In this particular case, ChatGPT is a cool curiosity that's already being widely derided for the things it does poorly. Google trends to try to target its AI to constructive ends and products before release.

@darryl ChatGPT is derided for errors and other transgressions in small ways, but in general is lauded as the most amazing AI thing anyone has ever seen. Google used to be the very definition of bold innovation, failing in public and driving tech forward. Now, under Pichai, they hold back from a new culture of timidity and cowardice.
