I know that there is a good argument to be made about "getting your money worth" and a big personal preference factor, but I can't shake the feeling that many AAA games nowadays are too long.
Maybe I am just getting older, but I often get tired after I have sunk 100 hours in a game and the end is not yet in sight.

@j_bertolotti I honestly don't mind that. I love drawn out games that feel like a massive adventure over many weeks. The only problem is if it's compelling enough that I end up binging instead.

@j_bertolotti tho my perspective is as someone who plays mostly grad strategy or games like factorio where you're building something over a long period of time rather than typical story based first person games.

@j_bertolotti @fizziksBoris What I also do with RPG, and _specially_ JRPG, is "cheat" by lowering the difficulty, or, you know, actually cheating. I did that in Xenoblade and I don't regret it at all. Man, that game was longer than life
