"If you are currently using a Free plan and want to download your messages, you can export your messages directly from the ProtonMail web app."
How can you do this? The article you're linking in this sentence is about the Import-Export app, but that doesn't let you log in with a free account. I looked through the Settings on the website, but I can't find it.
Please let free accounts bulk export their emails to a standard free format Thunderbird can import. It's the most important feature. We want to access our past emails offline when we eventually don't have our accounts anymore for some reason.

@dialyzer Hi, thank you for pointing that out. We'll share it with our team.

Our Import-Export app is currently available for paid users only, although we plan on eventually making the app available to all users. For now, free users can manually export individual messages by opening the message, clicking More > Export.

@dialyzer Update: We also fixed the link in the blog post. Thank you again for pointing it out!
