@randahl International aid to Palestine is typically $1B / year, right? give or take? US and European Commission give most of that I think. I expect that will continue.
Hopefully it can be used to fix infrastructure instead of attacking Israeli civilians going forward, that would be nice.
"This is not the aftermath... " Randahl it sounds like you had an idea of how IDF could have wiped out Hamas (which obviously needed to happen) without as many civilian casualties. I've never heard of such a plan; while it's maybe a bit late care to articulate it?
@ech @randahl i'm sure shooting kids in the testicles was a necessary measure to stop hamas as well.
if you think genocide is a justifiable response to a terror group's attack on the terrorist apartheid state that was the reason for their existence, you should take a long hard look at yourself, then jump off a fucking cliff.
i'm so sick of seeing zionazis/zionazi supporters like you pandering to israel trying to justify its genocide on my feed, and being polite about it. fuck off.
@ech @randahl most of you fucks have been silent, observing israel's apartheid, its occupation of palestinian land, and the building of illegal settlements in the west bank for decades. then israel gets inevitably attacked, and you all collectively grow boners for peace and justice, dismissing a genocide as just another side effect of conflict.
@ech
While "wiping out" (interesting military action verb) Hamas, they accidentally "wiped out" 16.000 children. IDF had solid TTPs of dealing with Hamas, but the Cabinet removed all law of armed conflict driven restrictions to "find more targets". This is inexcusable by any measure. An AI driven (i.e. industrial) campaign of destruction.
