I honestly can't believe this is true. Are they seriously suggesting that more than 50% of people are just automatons, just reactive action without any thought or deliberation? Or that they just live each day mentally empty until required to interact??

@Eignablanco I have an internal dialogue, often a few fighting for my attention actually.
Interestingly, I have no minds-eye. I can't "visualise a beach", or relive a past event. My memory is quite strange because of this, I can read a book or watch a film - and quite often I couldn't describe in detail the media that was just consumed. However if i went back to the same book or film, I know what's happening, happened, and what will happen - almost like I need a reference point.

@elevynn wow, thank you for sharing that! That's brilliant, or at least, it seems brilliant to me but your lived experience might say different of course. I'm humbled to be hearing all these different points of view and experience. 🙏
