Looking for recommendations- books for a teenager with an aversion to love stories
Can anyone recommend books suitable for a 14-15 year old boy who is not interested in reading any books with romance in them. He is probably #asexual and #aromantic (he has always said he is not sure when asked and he is not interested in discussing it further).
I've done a google search but all the books about aro and ace characters tend to be centred around relationships with others. Are there any fiction books that don't have love stories in them, for his age group? They don't have to include aro and ace characters.
He used to read all the time when he was younger. He likes comics and graphic novels. I'm looking for ideas.

also and age appropriate: The Earthsea Books by Ursula K. LeGuin, especially the early ones (there is one love story in a later book)
also: The King's Peace and the King's Name by Jo Walton @Bluejo The hero there is #asexual. Not to confuse with the prequel "The price in the game", which is definitely a (very good) love story.
I also very much join in @Fanua 's recommendation of "A Wrinkle in Time"
