I'm not from the U.K. but a lot of the sitcoms I've enjoyed the most going back to my early teens have actually been British: Mr. Bean, Keeping Up Appearances, Are You Being Served, As Time Goes By, Fawlty Towers. British humor has always struck a chord with me in a way that American humor hasn't, for whatever reason.
