@yaneerbaryam I feel like it’s not just kids, either. Anecdotally, both my husband and I - as well as my boss - all got RSV last month. It hit us all really hard, and none of us have "fully" recovered yet.
Also, there is a long history of hospital acquired RSV as it is difficult to control in hospital settings unless strong measures are used https://www.nature.com/articles/jp200837
Today it makes sense that lung damage and immune system damage can give rise to much more severe cases.
