@sbarolo @shrewshrew @tootjane @bookstodon heretical opinion about that series. Colin Firth wasn't very good as "mean" Darcy in early episode. He looks like he has a toothache when he tries to pull mean faces in the first episode.

It doesn’t matter what he was doing - Darcy is existing on film, like a piece of cheese cake, just waiting to be nibbled on. Although your objection clarifies for me the responses of some folks, who are not hormonally addled by that vision of male pulchritude, to the miniseries in general! Thanks for the clarification.
