But something I’d like to see as part of GE is a course in formal logic—potentially a requirement that could be met either with a comp sci course or with a philosophy course on symbolic logic or the like.

I never had the opportunity to take anything like that as an undergrad, myself.
@tkinias @philip_cardella @cgoodhistorian Actually took it during summer semester because it wasnt a strength. Just a personal thing I guess. The truth tables, etc were not fun.
