Anyone know of a good #opensource alternative to GoodReads? I just learned it's owned by Amazon. 🤮 😭
I could see a book sharing project being a great #ActivityPub initiative.

I asked the exact same question on *Diaspora a few years ago .. didn't return any valuable results.
Also my internet search back then didn't give any nice alternatives that are still alive and haven't also been bought by Amazon.
Having a decent non-commercial platform for discussing books would be awesome.
