toki pona as an interlang

Making toki pona an interlang is possible! I think we should all strive for the dissemination of toki pona wisdom beyond country borders! It could act as a global "fusha" or even as a very cute language that everyone uses for mundane communication. Say, I'm Chinese and my friend is an Arab, how can we find common ground if neither of us knows English? We can sit and learn the entirety of toki pona from even a few pages of vocab + grammar and get around with our daily communication. For me, it took me only 2 days to learn the whole thing, to be able to fully express myself (although I had to think for a while when talking).
